Scholastic Monday ~ Zoe's Year

One of the things that I love about living in Canada is that we really do experience four very different seasons each year! We go from -30 in winter to +30 in summer, and I love the diversity of our season - even though it does require our closets to be a little fuller with all the extra clothing! This week we are featuring a fun little board book from Scholastic Canada. Zoe's Year by Barbara Reid is a book about Zoe, who is busy exploring each of the seasons as they pass through her neighborhood.

The book features unique, plasticine illustration which are so fun...and even appear to be 3D! Your kids are bound to love this book as they read about Zoe splashing through puddles, having a summer picnic, enjoying a fall day at the park and speeding down snowy hills on her sled. Zoe's Year brings out some of the best parts of each season and is a great way to teach young children about the seasons of the year as well.
