You'll probably remember I'm a big fan of Live Clean products. Over the past few years, we've had the chance to try out many products from their collection and have always been impressed.
Many of you will also know I'm a proud Canadian - and many of you are too! We're coming up to our nation's birthday on July 1st, and there's a lot of patriotism to be seen. What are your plans for Canada Day? We'll possibly go to the park for some activities there and for sure go and watch the fireworks at the end of the day.
Live Clean is also a proud Canadian company! And in order to celebrate Canada Day with our readers, we've joined up with many blogs in the Great Canadian Blog Bash! Today's the day we start The Great Canadian Blog Bash hosted by Whispered Inspirations, Mom vs. the Boys, Positively Pampered Patty, Good Girl Gone Green and Kat’s Confessions, all great Canadian blogs!
Live Clean is known for their collection of eco-friendly, plant-based personal care products for the whole family. From shampoos to creams, from body wash to baby care - they've developed a great range of products that, in our experience and opinion, work great, last a long time and protect the environment and our health.
Their latest introduction is an 8-product eco-friendly face care line called Live Clean (Fresh Face). I was thrilled when I received the collection in the mail! My face care routine has been sketchy at best, mostly haphazard and when I think of it, and this was a great excuse to become more consistent. :)
The eight product Fresh Face collection -- Foaming Daily Cleanser, Deep Cleansing Clay Masque, Smoothing Facial Scrub, Refreshing Facial Toner, Daily Moisturizer, Glowing Daily Serum, De-puffing Roller Eye Treatment, and Nourishing Night Cream -- offers the right product for every skincare need and encompasses Live Clean’s fundamental principles of creating products that are highly effective and no more complicated than necessary. The Live Clean (Fresh Face) collection is designed to maintain skin health. It's based on a
trademarked Botanical Orchid-C complex™ that harnesses the proven rejuvenating capacities of both Vitamin C and the orchid. Vitamin C has long been regarded by dermatologists as the most powerful antioxidant for skin care, while orchid extract stops the destruction of dermal structure proteins, sealing in moisture and aiding in skin hydration. Fresh Face is PH balanced for all skin types to keep a healthy and glowing complexion all day, everyday.
Every product that I've used from the collection (I haven't tried the mask or the serum yet) has worked really well for me. I especially like the foaming cleanser - it's easy to get a good lather that spreads over the whole face, and leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. Following the cleanser with the toner and moisturizer really sets my skin up for feeling great all day...soft and smooth, not tight and dry like after some cleansers and their accompanying products. I've found the eye treatment to bee soothing and cooling - really refreshing when I've been extra tired. I haven't used the night cream too often, as in the summer I find a lighter moisturizer (like the daily moisturizer) is enough for me at night too, but I'm sure I'll use this rich and thick cream a lot this coming winter! The scrub is gentle enough for the face, but still very effective and exfoliates well without irritating the skin.
