LEGO is a BIG deal around our home these days! Our 5 year old son has officially entered the Lego world and could spend hours building and creating Lego masterpieces. Sometimes though it takes a picture or a tip or an idea from someone or something else to spark his imagination. DK Canada has a fabulous book that is perfect for getting the imagination going when it comes to the world of Lego! The LEGO Idea Book is a New York Times best seller...and I can see why! It is packed with amazing ideas and tips (and of course LOADS of color photographs) of new and exciting LEGO projects that your children and you can build. The great thing about this book is that it takes the LEGO bricks that you most possibly already own and helps you come up with new projects, and gives you a world of options that don't come with the original Lego sets you bought.
The book is organized into six themed chapters which include themes such as transportation, buildings, space, adventure, etc. Each project is photographed from a variety of angles to help you see how it was built and to inspire you to create your own. What if you don't have all the bricks you need? The book also shows how to simply some of the details and is incredibly user-friendly - even for younger children such as our son. The book grows with your child as well...a younger LEGO builder can look at and study the picture, and as they grow and learn, they can read the tips, hints and continue creating LEGO masterpieces!
WIN IT!
DK Canada is giving one of YOU a copy of the LEGO Ideas Book! In order to enter please follow the instructions on the form below. Open to CANADA only. Ends March 19, 2012.
