DK Discovery Day ~ How Cooking Works ~ GIVEAWAY!

Cooking...now that's one thing that we do a lot of around here, and in my opinion, it is a very important skill for kids to learn! I encourage my kids to take turns being my "kitchen helper" from the time they are about 1 1/2 years old (consider they can do it without creating a TOTAL disaster! ;) )

But...what about the logistics of cooking? How does it all work? Why do onions make you "cry"? and why does chocolate melt, but bread does not? Good questions, huh?!
