Sharing...it's a tough 'skill' to learn sometimes, isn't it?! Yet, you hear moms and teachers saying it all the time..."Share, Share and Share some more!" And this week for Scholastic Monday we get to share ;) another fabulous Robert Munsch book with you! We Share Everything by Robert Munsch is a great book for kids who need to learn that sharing can be FUN! The story features Amanda and Jeremiah who have a big problem. It's the first day of kindergarten and they both want the same books, paints, toys, etc...and no one is sharing. The teacher, of course, goes into her "sharing speech" and reminds them that in Kindergarten they share everything. Everything? Really? Well...you know kids, and sometimes they just have to take a comment like that to the next level, don't they? :) Amanda and Jeremiah decide that maybe they can share after all...it starts with sharing their shoes, and next thing you know they've shared their whole outfits! Before they knew it sharing had become fun.
We Share Everything is a funny little story that kids are sure to enjoy. It's also available in a board book for younger children. Hats off to Robert Munsch for yet another great children's book!
