Friendship Bracelets & Ribbon Barrettes ~ GIVEAWAY!

Remember way back in the day (well, maybe it's not as FAR back for some of you! ;) ), when we used to make friendship bracelets for all our friends, and of course for ourselves, for our little brothers, or whomever else we thought was in need of a bracelet made by us? :) I was a huge fan of making friendship bracelets when I was young...and to be honest? I still think I'd love it...but my time is filled up with different things these days.

However, that said, I am so excited to teach my daughters how to make friendship bracelets and we recently received the perfect product for this job - the My Friendship Bracelet Maker is a fabulous product that makes creating friendship bracelets easy, and fun. No more frustrating mix-ups, and it even holds the threads for you so your bracelet comes out looking beautiful and neat. My Friendship Bracelet Maker includes 56 pre-cut threads in 14 different colors. A slide out tray with inside storage helps to keep all your strings neatly organized. A few other features that we love about My Friendship Bracelet Maker is that it is small & portable (perfect for traveling or trips!) and it's a simple way for kids to make gifts for their friends, family members, etc. The website has a variety of patterns and instructions to help you along as well.

We also received a new Ribbon Barrette Maker! It follows the same basic idea as the above product, however instead of making bracelets you and your girls can now create classic ribbon barrettes. Yep, these were the barrettes that in were "in" in the 80's - but guess what? They're making a comeback! :) My Ribbon Barrette Maker has already won several awards and is a perfect opportunity for moms and daughters to make memories as they weave beautiful barrettes together. It is very easy to use, and includes 16 barrettes, 64 ribbons and 256 beads. Once again, it contains a handy built-in storage drawer for all your pieces and is ideal for traveling, rainy days, birthday parties or sleepovers!

When browsing for gift ideas that girls will truly enjoy this year, I'd definitely recommend either of these items. They can be enjoyed all year long and can be done with friends, with family or even by yourself. The patterns, colors & options make it extra fun, and I'm certain that we'll make many great memories and many great crafts with these two products in our home in the years to come!

WIN IT!
One lucky reader is going to win both My Friendship Bracelet Maker and My Ribbon Barrette Maker! In order to enter, please follow the instructions on the form below. Contest is open to USA & Canada. Ends December 21, 2011.

I have been wanting one of these. Can't decide if I would keep it of give it to a niece. When I was little I shoved a safety pin through the starting knot and then pin it to my pants to make my bracelets.
