Enjoying Druide!
As we're switching to natural personal care products, there have been a couple of categories where we were still looking for acceptable products: toothpaste and foam bath. We've tried several brands of both and each time were disappointed. The toothpaste tasted awful, or the teeth didn't feel clean...the foam bath didn't really produce very many bubbles and they faded away very quickly.
Enter Druide! This Canadian company based in Quebec manufactures many different personal care products, including toothpaste and foaming bath! The products are made in Canada with clear ingredient lists, and good instructions. They carry the largest range of certified organic products in Canada. There's a good selection of baby and child products, products for people with hypersensitive skin, hair and body care...the list goes on!
They were kind enough to send us 2 different toothpastes to try: banana flavour for the kids and cinnamon for me. YES, all for me! :) Right away Jonathan and Daniel were keen to try the banana toothpaste, and they've happily brushed their teeth every day with it since it came. The toothpaste is fluoride-free, so it doesn't matter if it's swallowed, and Daniel isn't so good at swish and spit yet! And, it's also suitable for sensitive teeth. I really like my Cinnamon toothpaste. I have never been a fan of mint, and most toothpastes are some form of mint. I've tried a cinnamon-flavoured toothpaste available at the local supermarket, but it was such an artificial taste I couldn't handle it either. On top of these taste restrictions, when I'm pregnant, I can't seem to handle the taste of most toothpastes at all. The Druide cinnamon toothpaste is naturally flavoured, and it tastes great. It's quite a strong flavour, but I really like cinnamon. If you don't, they also have toothpaste in aniseed and mint/lemon. Each formula has specific oral health benefits - read about them on the website! The "adult" toothpaste is also free of fluoride, artificial sweeteners (sweetened with stevia) and sulfates. Something else I like about this toothpaste is how long a tube lasts! Each kind of toothpaste is available in a small (65 ml) and large (120ml) container.
Druide's foaming bath collection is quite extensive. We have been trying the "Respire" formula, designed to help clear congested airways. The scent is great: pleasant, but doesn't leave your bathroom smelling like foam bath for days. And the BUBBLES! Even just a little bit makes a whole bathtub full of bubbles, and they last for at least 20 minutes. We've had a few colds in our house recently, and the kids seem to clear up after a bath with Respire. It contains eucalyptus, a powerful natural expectorant, peppermint, also an expectorant, thyme, a decongestant, and fir, which is antiseptic and helps make breathing easier. The foam bath is also available in 2 sizes: 250 ml and 1L.
BUY IT!
Druide products are available at retailers in Ontario and Quebec, or online via the Druide webshop. Standard rate shipping is reasonably priced at $4.99 for orders shipped in Canada and $9.99 for orders to the USA, and FREE to both countries if the order is over $60.00!!! The website is conveniently organized by category but also by condition, something I found very helpful.
**Disclaimer: The products mentioned above have been given free of charge from Druide in exchange for being featured on Glimpse. The opinions expressed in this post are those of Glimpse and have not been influenced in any other way. Please see the full Terms of use.

Happy Birthday with Leapfrog!
Leapfrog has so many awesome education toys out there, and we were lucky to get the chance to try out a fun Counting Candles Birthday Cake toy. This is a simple toy, with just a couple buttons for your toddler to push. The cake plays a few birthday songs, and teaches counting, as the candles light up. Then, your child has the chance to practice blowing out the candles!
My older two children have enjoyed playing with this toy, and practicing blowing out the candles. My 3 year old is learning how many times to push the button for 3 candles to light up. And my 10 month old just loves hearing the songs. She hasn't quite figured out how to push the buttons, but I'm sure she will soon. Maybe we can even teach her how to blow out a candle before her first birthday!
I think this is a fun toy for the little people in your life. Make sure to check out the other toys available from Leapfrog!

Perfect for Your Feet
When you think about it we spend a lot of time our feet...whether it's at a job or at home being a mom - our feet get used a LOT! So since we spend so much time on our feet we really should be taking good care of them, right? I recently was in touch with Brooks Canada who hooked me up with a fabulous new pair of Dalea eVent shoes from Teva. These shoes were made to make your feet happy! They are basically a light hiking shoe but really are perfectly suited for all sorts of situations! The shoe is great for a short, casual hike or a longer overnight hike. Or...in "mom language" it's great for a leisurely trip to the park, as well as for a mad dash through mud, sand and grass to catch a run-away toddler! :)I've found the Dalea eVent shoe to be very comfortable and versatile. It's actually designed specifically to fit a woman's foot so I'm sure that has a lot to do with the amazing comfortability factor. In addition to this, there is the eVent waterproof membrane, and the durable Vibram rubber outsole. The unique thing about this shoe is that although it is waterproof, there are still lots of tiny pores in the fabric that allows the shoe to be breathable as well - it's definitely the best of both worlds!
There are plenty of other styles of shoes & sandals as well. There's a great selection of quality footwear for the whole family...including kids! :)
BUY IT!
Teva offers a wide variety of footwear for men, women and kids. You can purchase them online or use the store locator to find your closest retailer.

Scholastic Monday - Mad at Mommy

Kids feel a huge range of emotions...and they are usually quite vocal about them too! :) However, I believe that it is our job to help them learn to express themselves in a way that is healthy and respectful...whether that be when they are angry or when they are jubilant. The book that we are featuring from Scholastic Canada today talks about the feeling of being mad. Mad at Mommy tells the story of Little Bunny who is quite upset with his mommy. A few of his 'complaints' are: 'She sleeps too late,' 'She talks too much,' 'And she gets mad for no reason -- just a few little bubbles on the floor.' At the end of the story Little Bunny decides he is so upset that he is going to run away...but he doesn't make it very far when he decides that her really doesn't want to leave his Mommy behind forever. My thoughts on the book? Personally it is not something that I would encourage my children to read. I felt that Little Bunny portrayed a lack of respect for his Mommy and generally don't even like to mention the idea of "running away because you're not happy" to my children...I'd just rather not put such ideas into their precious little minds that absorb and take to heart a LOT of what they hear. On the positive side, Mad at Mommy does have a sweet ending where Little Bunny realizes that it's not worth it to be mad at his mommy or to run away. The ending of the book is sweet, but all in all I'd rather teach my children about anger and how to deal with it by using other resources.

Green snacks and sandwiches!
Yes, Green Snacks and Sandwiches!
No, it's not "green" like "Green Eggs and Ham!"
"Green" as in environmentally friendly! :)
Yep, you guessed it, reusable snack bags and sandwich bags! Yet another great product from our friends at The Sling Sisters. Check out other reviews of their products here and here and here.
Lori and Sandra, the "Sling Sisters" have been busy making new products and we've been lucky enough to try out these snack and sandwich bags! With many great designs to choose from, there's certain to be one that will appeal to the kid(s) in your family or the kid in you!
Handily enough, Jonathan and Daniel both received a snack and sandwich bag set, of different designs. You know, siblings have to have the same stuff, but different so they know whose is whose. I'm starting to catch on! All the bags have a zipper across the top, which makes it easy for Mom or Dad to fill up and easy for anyone to open. The fabric on the outside is a 100% cotton print, and the lining is 100% ripstop nylon. The bags are washable, but mostly we've just had to give them a quick wipe-out after use and they're good to go. Wet and squishy snacks (grapes, blueberries etc) work just as well as dry snacks (raisins, trail mix, crackers) and so far, in nearly 4 months of use, we've not had any leaks - either of liquid or of crumbs, which is a super accomplishment for us, and certainly a benefit when the snacks are being consumed in the car! The bread of a sandwich stays fresh, and any condiment used also stays contained within the bag, if it should decide squish out of the sandwich!
BUY IT!
The Sling Sisters are once again offering a great 15% discount on any snack or sandwich bag purchase. Use the code Glimpse15. Valid until December 25, 2010 and open to Canadians only.

Dr. Oetker - Tasty & Convenient! ~ GIVEAWAY!
When it come to cooking I generally tend to make a lot of stuff from scratch...I'm usually not too 'into' the quick frozen meals or mixes...too many "weird" ingredients in them if you know what I mean! :) There has been one exception in our home recently though and that is the quick and easy to prepare products from Dr. Oetker. We received a boxful of goodies from Dr. Oetker...it was filled to the brim with some cupcake, muffin and pancake Shakers, as well as some yummy Shirrif cooked puddings and some Dr. Oetker pizza's! The pizza's from Dr. Oetker are especially great for meals...though they can definitely make a good midnight snack too! :) There are plenty of toppings on the pizza, and they are bursting with flavor. It's nice to find a pizza that (more or less :) ), looks like the picture on the outside of the box...and though these may cost a bit more than the generic brands, they also have more on them and are a much more filling and satisfying meal.
Next, there was the Shaker Mixes...these are even more handy than cake mixes! All you need to do is add ONE ingredient (milk or water) and shake, shake, shake. No eggs, no oil, and no dirty dishes either. Just shake and bake...couldn't be any easier. Dr. Oetker's shakers also contain 0 Trans Fats are a source of Fibre and are prebiotic...oh, and tasty too. The Shirriff cooked puddings are my husband's weakness...and it's no doubt, because they are so good! Lemon meringue pie with the Shirriff pudding mix is a favorite!

Dr. Oetker has a great selection of products for busy families on-the-go! And they're perfect for the Christmas season too...great for snacks, meals or for sharing with your neighbors! Be sure to check out Dr. Oetker on Facebook too - there's a GREAT contest going on where you could win #10,000 towards a family reunion!
WIN IT!

Getting Cuddly - GIVEAWAY!!
Peatoes, that wonderful kids online shop based in Montreal, sent a cuddle toy for "the new baby" when they sent the clothes for the boys. Check out their toy collection - they've got a great selection of toys for kids of all ages. These are specially chosen, and are not what's available in your average toy shop.
Biba the Pig is an organic cuddle cloth toy. Both boys have a favourite bear they cannot be without, and the part of their bear they like the most is the cloth attached to it. So, if Annalies follows in her big brothers' footsteps, Biba the Pig will be exactly what she likes! Biba is made by Danish company Franck & Fischer, a company whose toys are fair-trade produced and handmade. Most of Biba is a cotton jersey fabric, and the rest is a cotton velour. The bright colours, and especially the stripes, are very attractive. Biba's hands and feet are knotted, so easy to grip, and satisfying to chew on. Only the head is stuffed (100% polyester), so the toy is lightweight and easy for even an infant to move around. On a practical note, the cuddle pig is washable - a feature I'm sure we'll have to try out before long!
Peatoes has another great giveaway for Glimpse readers! Visit the Peatoes website, comment here on your favourite toy, and you could win a Biba the Pig for your very own!!! :)

Dreaming in Comfort ~ GIVEAWAY!
If there's one place that I need to be comfortable, it's in bed. I have to be in the right position...with the right amount of blankets, and a soft pillow...not too hot, not too cold, and of course, it needs to be quiet too. ;) SleepySheep is a fabulous online store filled with bedding that makes it easy to have a comfortable and restful night's sleep! They sent my husband and I each a Natural Latex Gold Chip Pillow to dream on...and together we both concur that these are the best pillows we've ever owned! They are so very comfortable. There's a lot more benefits than just the comfort though...I love the added health benefits that come with using a natural latex gold chip pillow. It is antimicrobial, does not off-gas (such as polyurethane & memory foam pillows may do), and it contains zero added chemicals. These are pillows that I feel good about laying my head down on! Each pillow also comes with a natural cotton cover that is breathable, washable and has not been bleached - so no added chemicals there either. Besides all these benefits, we really enjoy the way these pillows mold to your head & neck...they are soft, mold-able, supportive and springy - so no flat pillow after a good night's sleep! I also love the lack of dust/lint, etc. in these pillows. The Natural Latex Gold Chip Pillow is a real asset to me as I struggle with some slight asthma/allergies at certain times of the year. We would highly recommend these pillows to anyone looking for a good quality, incredibly comfortable, durable and long-lasting pillow!!Besides pillows you'll find a great selection of other natural and safe bedding options at SleepySheep. There's a great selection of duvets (for all seasons of the year), crib mattresses, overlays and more!
WIN IT!SleepySheep is giving one of our readers a Queen size latex filled pillow! In order to get one entry, head over to SleepySheep and let us know what else you loved on their website or something new you learned.

A Little Mess, A Lot of Yummy ~ GIVEAWAY! (2 WINNERS!)

With the holidays just around the corner, baking and cooking is something that's often on our minds...you know, all those yummy holiday snacks and treats - and of course, Christmas dinner! Baking and cooking is not just for us adults though. My two older kids LOVE to help me cook, bake, make a salad...anything in the kitchen that involves ingredients and mixing is fun, so I always have lots of little helpers. :) But, what if....What if we had our own kid-proof, kid-style cookbook...especially made for kids (with adult supervision of course ;) )? Can you imagine how fun this would be? Scholastic Canada sent us our own Kids Cooking book from their fabulous Klutz collection...and it is filled with a great variety of classic parent-approved recipes. The book comes with color-coded measuring spoons that help kids know which spoon to use in each recipe. Kids Cooking is complete with some important "Kitchen Rules" at the start and is VERY kid-friendly - explaining things clearly, printed on wipe-clean pages, is full of colorful pictures, even the titles of the recipes are great for kids - I can't think of any kid who wouldn't want to make the "Non-Yukky Vegetables"...or Darrell's "Forget-the-Cookies-Just-Give-Me-That-Batter" Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe! Mmmmm....makes you hungry just thinking about it, doesn't it? ;) Kids Cooking is the best kids cookbook I've seen to date, and with Scholastic Canada you can add one to your cookbook cupboard right now! While you're there be sure to check out all the other fun, unique and VERY entertaining Klutz activity books!
WIN IT!
Scholastic Canada is giving a Kids Cooking book to TWO readers! In order to get one entry, head over to Scholastic Canada's Klutz section and let us know which Klutz book looks like the most fun.

Litterless Lunch - GIVEAWAY!
Fill Your Own is a Canadian company that started out designing and making water bottles using artists designs. We've had 2 of their water bottles since January 2010 and have been very happy with them. Recently, Fill Your Own expanded their line to include stainless steel food containers, lunch bags and shopping totes. Now it's possible to send your child to school (or yourself to work!) with a matching, litterless lunch kit!
We've been using 2 of the stainless steel food containers since the middle of July. They came in very handy when we were on summer outings, for snacks and lunches away from home. The containers come in 3 different sizes: 8oz, 16oz and 24oz (237ml, 474ml, 711ml) - we have the 2 smaller ones. One thing I really like about the containers is that the food doesn't get squished! They are easy to clean, and can transport a variety of foods. They're also lightweight, so you don't have to worry about heavy lunches! :)
The matching lunch bag has really been a favourite of Daniel's (it has the same design as his water bottle). Although he doesn't go to school like his big brother, having a lunch bag really made him feel grown up. It's been a practical way to keep the snacks separate, and to take along several items for Daniel on one outing. The bags are made from 100% recycled plastic water bottles.

I am a great fan of reusable shopping bags/totes. The 2 that Fill Your Own sent me are strong, lightweight, and hold a lot of groceries, books, etc. A really great feature is that they roll up and snap - they're very compact to take along, and I try to always have at least 1 in my purse for the days when I forget to put the bag of bags in the car before I go to the supermarket! The handles are comfortable to carry, and are also long enough to put over your shoulder.
WIN IT!
To celebrate the opening of their new online shop, Fill Your Own is offering Glimpse readers another great contest! One reader will win their choice of stainless steel water bottle (retail value $20-$29)! To enter, please visit Fill Your Own and comment below on your favourite lunch kit set.
EXTRA ENTRIES - Please leave an additional comment for each extra entry.
BUY IT!
Fill Your Own is also offering all of you a 15% discount at their new online shop! In order to receive your discount, use the coupon code: FYO15GLP. Expires December 17, 2010. Discount is open worldwide and there is no minimum purchase.

Green Please! ~ Giveaway!! 12/20

We don't buy a lot of toys in our home, for a few reasons. One of them being that it is hard to find good quality toys that do not contain a bunch of toxic plastic. Especially where I live, as we basically have Wal-Mart and Superstore. Not a lot of great options, lol.
I was super excited to find an online store that is actually almost local to me! Green Please is located in Winnipeg, MB, so just over an hour away from me. The fact that they ship is obviously a bonus, but those of you who are local, this would be a great way to save on shipping costs.
We received the most adorable little set of dolls from Green Please. These dolls are the Plan Toys Doll Family II, and are the perfect wooden dolls for fostering the imagination! They are small dolls, for holding in your hand, and would be perfect to stash in a bag for those times when you are either in the vehicle or even in a waiting room somewhere.I have a very busy 3 year old, and I know these will be an awesome toy for her. She already has an especially active imagination, and I love listening to her crazy stories. Now she can act them out with her own little doll family.
The Plan Toys dolls are made with solid wood heads and soft wire bodies, so they can bend and flex. There is a really neat looking dollhouse and accessories that you can purchase to use with the doll family as well. It looks fabulous!
Green Please started as a way to cut out the toxic chemicals in our environment. They offer consultations on going green for the sake of your health, so if you live in the area, make sure to check it out!
Green Please carries dozens of toys, litterless lunch products, healthy bedding and cleaning products. I couldn't list all the products, there are so many. I'm happy to have found a great resource for my family.
WIN IT!
Green Please is offering a $25 gift certificate to one lucky Glimpse reader! In order to enter, please stop by Green Please and pick out a favorite product.

Loveable, Chewable Sophie ~ GIVEAWAY!
If there's one thing I've learned about babies in the past 4 years, it's that they loooove to put anything and everything in their mouths. :) Toys are worth nothing if they can't chew & taste them! Now that we are going through the whole taste-testing & teething stage again I've begun to fill my home with toys that I know are safe and non-toxic. Sophie the Giraffe certainly qualifies as a fabulous natural toy for babies. My lil' Package sent Jenna her very own Sophie the Giraffe to play with, chew on, etc. We've heard a lot of great things about Sophie before and now that we finally own one I'd have to say that she really is a wonderful toy for babies. The creators of Sophie the Giraffe thought of all the basics...SIGHT - Dark and contrasting spots on Sophie's body make her easy to recognize and gives baby something fun to look at!
HEARING - With a gentle squeeze Sophie will squeak! (it is very easy to squeeze...perfect for the tiniest of hands!)
TASTE - Sophie is oh-so-chewable! She's soft, flexible and there's all sorts of options when it comes to chewing on something...there's the ears, horns, legs...lots of variety. ;) ). Of course, Sophie is made from nothing but the best since she's meant to be tasted - the toy is made from 100% natural rubber and food based paint.
TOUCH - She is light, has nice long legs and a nice long neck that are very easy for a baby to grab onto and hold. Sophie is also very soft and smooth.
SMELL - Sophie the Giraffe even has a unique smell! Since she's made from natural rubber (the Hevea tree), she has a special scent, which is also very pleasant!
All in all, we were very pleased with Sophie the Giraffe and I'd say it's a great option to get for baby showers, or even for a little one in your home this Christmas season! Sophie covers all the bases and is a wonderfully unique teething toy.
Besides teething toys, you'll find a whole lot of other great items and gift ideas at My lil' Package! Check out their large selection of Toys & Games, their seasonal (winter) products, the eco-friendly items and more!
WIN IT!My lil' Package is giving away Sophie the Giraffe to one of our lucky readers! In order to get one entry, head over to My lil' Package and let us know what another item you loved was.

Caring for the Planet, one bag at a time! ~ Giveaway!! (10 Winners!!) 12/20

I'm a huge fan of reusable bags, and always have a few with me in my purse. When I do my grocery shopping, I grab my bag full of bags, and head out the door. My grocery store actually even gives me 4 cents back for every reusable bag I use, so it's an extra bonus!
Recently I had the chance to try out two fabulous types of reusable bags. The first ones are the Carebags bulk/produce bags. These bags are fabulous! They are super strong, stretchy, and the drawstring is perfect. Each Carebags drawstring bag holds up to 8 pounds of bulk foods or produce! When you first look at the bags, they really don't look big enough to hold much. They are 9 x 11 inches, but stretch an incredible amount.
The second set of bags I received was the Gotit! 3 pack of reusable bags. They are very similar to the Carebags, but there are a few differences. First of all, they are the same size, but they don't stretch quite as much as the Carebags. They also only hold up to 6 pounds. The advantage to them is that they are easier to see through than the Carebags. The white allows you to see what is in the bag easier than the green. One great feature that both types of bags share is that you can wash and store your produce right in the bag! This saves you time and actually keeps your veggies fresher longer. Just make sure you follow directions for certain types of produce.
Both types of bags available from Carebags are made right here in Canada, which makes a HUGE difference for our environment. Why get things made in China when we can get them made right at home!
I have already suggested that my local grocery store carries these bags, I love them so much! They would make awesome stocking stuffers or small gifts for everyone on your Christmas gift list!
WIN IT!
Carebags is offering 10 lucky winners a single reusable bag! In order to enter, please leave us a comment stating one downfall of plastic bags.
*If you have already won a Carebags reusable bag from Andrea's review, please do not enter again. We'd like to give more people the chance to try them out! Thanks!*

Fun with KLUTZ! ~ GIVEAWAY (2 WINNERS!)
We've recently featured a number of great books from Scholastic Canada...and it's no doubt that the first thing that comes to our mind when we think about Scholastic is - BOOKS! Books are fabulous things to own and our kids love them. But sometimes we need some books that are for more than just reading, and that's where the KLUTZ activity books come into play. These books (ok...well, some of them are definitely more like activities or games than they are books! ;) ), are SO very fun. We received a few of them to play with and explore...and the success rate for the KLUTZ books has been 100% so far in our home! :) One of the items we received was a Klutz Build-a-Book. We chose one for that we could make about Dad. Together my kids and I created a one-of-a-kind book for Daddy that will be presented to him as his Christmas gift from the kids this year. We had so much fun creating it! The kit contains everything you need (and plus some!) to make a colorful, fun and unique book about Dad. There are instructions, some inspiring ideas, lots of fun foam shapes, letters, googly eyes, and papers with all sorts of designs. The pages in the book are mostly blank, and are meant for you to fill with your own creations. I am sure that this little book will be treasured by Dad for years to come. It is a perfect gift for kids to make for their Dad...great for Christmas, birthdays, or just to show Dad how much you love him! There are also several other versions of the Build-a-Books.Secondly, we tried out something that most little girls love...and have owned and spent hours playing with at some point in their lives - paper dolls! Scholastic Canada sent us another book from the Klutz line - The Fabulous Book of Paper Dolls.
These aren't just any paper dolls though! You'll find paper people, but with tab-free clothing. The clothes for these dolls simply press-on and peel-off with special adhesive dots. There are six reversible paper dolls, three sweet paper babies and even a few paper pets. Of course, there are loads of reversible clothes, shoes and even hairstyles. Yep, this book has you covered when it comes to the world of paper dolls! This is an ideal book to help get rid of some of the boredom that comes along with school breaks...or it's also just the thing to do during a quiet evening at home, or on any of those rainy (or cold & snowy!) days.Check out the other Klutz Activity books...you'll find that there is a LOT of fun to be had with Klutz!
WIN IT!
Scholastic Canada is giving TWO readers a set of both of the books mentioned above! (each winner will receive: The Fabulous Book of Paper Dolls & Build-a-Book). In order to get one entry, let us know which of the Klutz books you loved the most over at Scholastic Canada.

Chic Wrapping with Furochic ~ Giveaway!! 12/10
This Christmas my gifts will be presented in style! Furochic is a fantastic Canadian company that makes gorgeous Furoshiki fabric gift wrap, all designed by Jenn Playford.Furochic has some awesome patterns available in their gift wrap, and I'm sure you will find something you love! I was particularly drawn to the Little Bird pattern, and Jenn also included Light Up. These patterns are super vibrant and really stand out!
I've been practicing my Furoshiki skills a bit in the past weeks, and hopefully I can really wow the recipients of these gifts! I'm excited too, to see them reused over and over again. That's the beauty of fabric. It's not a one time use thing. Kinder to the environment, and much more fun to deal with! I don't know how many times I've cut the paper too small, or had a gift that was an odd shape to wrap and torn the paper. So frustrating! This Christmas will be a breeze. No tape, no scissors, no mess!
WIN IT!

Smart Living with Organically Hatched ~ GIVEAWAY!
When we shop for gifts for our children there are usually a few main things that I look for. These include: 1) Products made from natural/safe materials; 2) Durability...cause kids are tough on toys sometimes; 3) Toys that encourage imagination/learning and are meant for a variety of ages. Organically Hatched is full of great toys like this! I fell in love with their Smart Living Grandparents Home while browsing through their great toy selection. The Grandparents Home is full of possibilities! It is a flexible home construction kit for children. You simply build the house by clicking levels and walls together in any way you choose. I love how it encourages thinking, imagination and of course...fun! :) With the Smart Living sets your children can create the houses of their dreams...and can "renovate" their house every day if they choose. In addition to all that, the set also comes with some little people and accessories to make "playing house" even more fun! It is also made from natural wood and water based paints, so there will be no worries about anything toxic or unsafe being around our precious children. The Smart Living Grandparents home has been a fabulous addition to our home, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something unique, fun, safe and versatile for the little people in their lives.Organically Hatched has many, many other amazing products. You'll find plenty of things that could be the "perfect" gift for that hard-to-buy individual...and well, there's a lot of products that I bet you would enjoy any time of the year too! Organically Hatched strives to bring you the best in organic baby products. There's also some goodies for mom & dad and older children as well. While you're there take a peek at the Top 10 Stocking Stuffers or Top 10 Toys for Christmas!
WIN IT!Organically Hatched is giving one of our readers a $15 gift certificate to spend at their great online shop. In order to get one entry, head over to Organically Hatched and let us know what you would buy with it if you won.

Just for YOU! ~ GIVEAWAY!
We love music in our home. I think music is such a great teaching tool...and well, it's just so fun to play and sing and dance and make music! :) But do you know how to make music even MORE fun?! Personalize it! My husband makes up songs about our kids all the time and they love listening to them and hearing their names in the songs. We recently received a fabulous personalized CD from Just Me! Music...you can imagine that this CD is listened to over and over and over in our home. :) Not only does it have one our kids' names in all the songs, but it is also a Veggie Tales CD which is a favorite with all of our children! The CD is full of really fun songs (we even get to do the Hokey Pokey!) and it also includes some talking amongst the Veggie Tales characters in between songs - and your child's name is even included in the talking sections so there will never be a boring moment for your little one. It's so neat to watch their face light up when they hear their name!Just Me! Music has several really fun options for the personalized CD's - there's Elmo, Disney Princesses, The Wiggles and more. They even have a personalized book that you can enjoy reading with your child. There are over 1,160 recorded names in Just Me Music's database...so the chances of your child's name being in there are pretty good. (hint: if you don't see their name, check for alternate spellings because with our name it was spelt different in the database, yet still pronounced the same way :) ). The personalized CD's and books from Just Me! Music would be perfect gifts for the Christmas season. They are personal, meaningful and can be enjoyed for many years to come!
WIN IT!Just Me! Music is giving one of our readers a personalized CD of your choice. In order to get one entry, head over to Just Me Music and let us know which one you would choose if you won!
