Silly Pants ~ GIVEAWAY (3 WINNERS!!)
Summer is finally here! We've been waiting all winter for summer, and it seems to be that way almost every year. :) Thankfully winter ended a little earlier than usual this year so the wait wasn't quite as long this time! One of our favorite things about summer is being able to eat popsicles, freezies and COLD stuff without shivering and having to put on extra sweaters. :) Summer time is the absolute perfect time for treats from the freezer and Silly Pants sent us the most unique and fun popsicle molds we've ever come across! They are made by Kinderville and are perfect for homemade popsicles! They are made from durable, BPA-free, non-leaching silicone. As well, they are designed just perfectly for little hands. Each popsicle mold has a tapered design which allows you to slowly push the popsicle to the top. Both our 2 year old and 3 year old LOVE them and they are a lot less messy than the normal popsicles. You can be sure that we are definitely going to be enjoying a LOT of yummy popsicles in these fabulous Kinderville popsicle molds this summer!
Silly Pants also has some of the most unique, fun, and durable kids backpacks. Beatrix Backpacks are truly adorable. Each one features a creature of Maakun Forest and is undeniably cute! :) Tate and Emily each got one of the Little Kid Backpacks which are perfect for...well, little kids! :) They are just the right size for a toddler, they're easy to open and close and are lightweight, yet very durable. They even have padded back panels and padded shoulder straps to protect against any 'heavy loads' your toddler may decide to carry. :) Beatrix also has backpacks for older kids, as well as lunch box backpacks. I know that my kids both loved their backpacks the minute they laid eyes on them, and I have a feeling that yours would too! :)
For those of us who are just starting out as a new mom, or have perhaps added a new blessing to your family recently, Silly Pants has something special for you too! Patemm changing pads are a one-of-a-kind changing pad. It is not only practical and easy to use, but it is full of style as well! I LOVE the fact that it is not a rectangle or square...nope, it is ROUND! This means that it takes a lot more squirming than usual for a little one to wiggle their way off this changing pad. Not only that, but it has inside pockets that are perfect for diapers, wipes and even a change of clothes! Who needs a diaper bag when you've got a Patemm, right?! :) You can definitely tell that this product was invented by a Mom! The Patemm pad folds up and even has a carrying handle. We love our Patemm changing pad and would recommend it to anyone who's got a little one in diapers. The Patemm is an award winning product and it's not hard to see why!WIN IT!
Silly Pants has an AWESOME giveaway lined up for our readers! There will be three winners - one will receive a set of Popsicle molds, one will receive a Beatrix backpack, and one will receive a Patemm changing pad!!
HOW TO ENTER...
The way to enter this giveaway is a little different than usual so read carefully! :) There will be only one entry per person and here's what you need to do:
Head over to Sevi section at Silly Pants and click on one of the catalogue links on the right hand side. Choose any Sevi product and write your own product description about that item (a few sentences is fine). Now, if you've never tried or seen a Sevi product in real life, that's fine! Go ahead and write up the best product description you can anyways (hint: perhaps try browsing the net to see what others are saying about Sevi products and it may give you some ideas. :) )
Secondly, please let us know which of the prizes would be your first, second and third choices if your entry gets chosen as a winning entry!
CONTEST OPEN TO CANADA & USA ONLY! Contest ends on July 12, 2010. Please view our giveaway rules for more info.

Huggies is giving back, and you can too!

Just yesterday I received an email from Huggies Canada, telling me about a need in our country that I really hadn't thought about. Have you ever considered the many mothers who cannot afford diapers for their babies? It's something that seldom crosses my mind, so I was glad to hear about the program that Huggies has implemented.
Until now ‘diaper need’ – the struggle to provide babies with the essential need of a clean, dry, diaper – has been a largely unrecognized issue in Canada. However a new study commissioned by Huggies reveals that nearly 1 in 5 Canadian moms struggle with diaper need. These moms have cut back on basics such as food, utilities like heat or electricity or even child care in order to provide enough diapers for their babies.
In working towards a solution - Huggies is leading a nationwide response to the issue of diaper need with a new program – Every Little Bottom. Huggies will donate up to 2.5 million diapers in Canada in the coming months. This month, Huggies will kick off the donation with half a million diapers to Food Banks Canada to distribute among its network of 450 food banks across the country who will then provide free diapers to babies in need. In addition, Food Banks Canada is working with Huggies to help develop a sustainable solution to diaper need including building awareness of diaper need in Canada, making additional donations and forging a national partnership that will provide the community-based support needed.

I think this is a great cause, and while I would personally like to see those little bums covered in cloth, I realize that just isn't possible in many cases. Let's do what we can, and donate some diapers! I can't imagine my little Emery having to sit in a dirty diaper all day because I could not afford to buy enough to change her more often.
You can read more about this program here. This is an international website, so not specifically focused on Canada, but the need is the same. Let's see how many little bums we can help :)

Simple & Sanitary
Almost everything is disposable these days, isn't it? You know, it seems that we made a HUGE swing from everything re-usable to everything being disposable...and now, at least in my perspective :), things are starting to very slowly swing back to the re-usable way of life. At least they sure are in our home! One of my favorite re-usable items is cloth mama pads. The difference between these and disposable pads is amazing. New Moon Pads is a great online shop that sells a good selection of cloth mama pads! They have tons (and I mean tons!) of different prints to choose from and have cloth pads to suit every need. I tried out a New Moon Medium cloth pad, and it worked well. They are made of a high absorbency flannel center, and very soft flannel top, along with a sherpa fleece backing to stop any leaks. Fleece works amazingly well to stop leaks! I use it all the time with cloth diapers, and now I've used it myself as well...and it definitely does the trick! There is one unique thing about New Moon Pads that I've never tried before - and that is that you can get them in a wingless style. You may be wondering how they'll stay put without any wings or snaps! Well, another great feature of the fleece backing is that it also lightly "sticks" itself in place and the fleece keeps the pad from shifting and moving around. It actually works fairly well. I did find that it shifted around a tad more than the cloth pads with wings, however, it was not enough to make it uncomfortable. You can also tell that each pad is made with much care and is made to last! Every pad is handmade by a fabulous WAHM mom and you can tell that she's put thought and effort into her products!
New Moon Pads also has a bunch of other products too! They've got cloth breast pads (a must have for any nursing mom!), paperless towels, wet bags and more! Head over and check out all of New Moon Pads' quality homemade items!
BUY IT!
New Moon Pads has a monthly coupon for you to take advantage of! Click here to view the coupon that they're offering this month - and hurry because it expires in just a few days (June 30, 2010)!

Keeping dry - not easy this summer!
Puddlegear sells rainwear for children, from babies to school-age. Their rain gear is PVC and Phthalate free and certified by oeko-tex, so I feel safe in letting Jonathan use it. And, it certainly is rain-proof! The weather the last few weeks (I wish I could say days!) has certainly proved that! It's advertised as: soft and flexible, breathable, wind and water-proof and I should add it seems to be mosquito-proof as well!
Jonathan was sent a "Fireman Suit." It's officially called the Anton Jacket with matching Felix Pants. The pants are overall-style, with straps that can go under the feet if you tuck the pants in the rubber boots, or over the boots, which is how Jonathan likes it. Then he takes his pants off with the boots still attached, "just like a real fireman!" The jacket and pants are VERY visible - in fact, he's the easiest kid to spot anywhere! Both have reflective stripes, making them safer to wear in darker conditions as well. Jonathan keeps warm, but has never complained of being to warm, something he often does with other clothing, especially waterproof pants he's worn before. Even riding his bike through puddles, he still hasn't managed to get wet clothes underneath! :) Unfortunately, Jonathan has been getting a LOT of wear out of his suit, and it's still in great condition. It washes well (hang to dry), and can even just be wiped off instead of a complete washing.
Puddlegear rainwear is ordered by your child's length, a system I find much more efficient than child's age. Even so, Jonathan has plenty of room for growth, so I think this suit will fit him through the fall and next spring rainy season as well. So, although it is pricey compared to rain gear you'd find in children's stores, when you consider that it can be worn several seasons, and perhaps by several children, and the safety and comfortable of the material, I think it's well worth the cost.
Check out Puddlegear's website to view more great products they offer - various designs and sizes, available for boys and girls.
Puddlegear is offering Glimpse readers a 10% discount. In order to get the discount, phone or email Puddlegear (phone number and email address are on the website) with your order and mention being a Glimpse reader. Offer expires July 31, 2010.

Sanitize with Purmist ~ Giveaway!
I'm sure by now many of us have forgotten (or at least tried to forget) the drama of H1N1. The fear of getting sick drove us to go to extreme measures to keep our hands clean, and kill germs. While it may currently be summer, and the threat of such viruses is on the back burner, we all know that winter is coming again, along with the threat of some new and scary virus.
Purmist is an awesome Canadian made hand sanitizer that I'm really loving right now! I've never really liked hand sanitizer, because of the nasty smell and the way it burned my hands and dried them out. I've been very pleasantly surprised with Purmist!Purmist is unique in the fact that it uses essential oils in the blend in order to keep the germ killing going for 4 hours after application! I think that's pretty awesome. Especially for our kids. I mean, they touch EVERYTHING!! It's nice to know that if I use Purmist on my kids hands, I won't have to reapply it every 10 minutes.
I was also happy to be able to try out all the different scents that Purmist offers. I think my favorite is the orange. It smells awesome! None of that nasty alcohol smell at all.
Here's some awesome information, just to confirm how great Purmist really is:
I'd encourage you to give this hand sanitizer a try. I know I won't be buying any other brand anymore.MKR International Inc, the Canadian corporation that manufactures Purmist, has learned tests by an independent laboratory accredited to prove Purmist kills the H1N1 Influenza virus.
The independent test results show the application of Purmist provides a major boost in preventing the spread of infection. The patented formula is made of essential oils and ethanol -- an alcohol derived from corn -- and is clinically proven to kill H1N1 on contact within 15 seconds.
ATS Labs tested the product last month at 15-second, 60-minute and four-hour intervals to determine its efficacy against H1N1. Results showed the Purmist hand sanitizer killed 99.97 per cent of the H1N1 viral cells at all three stages of testing.
WIN IT!
Purmist has offered an awesome prize pack for one lucky Glimpse reader! The prize pack is worth $60 and includes:
*One wall mount mister system, including the mister, a 400 ml bag of Purmist, batteries and installation hardware
*4 7.1 ml personal misters, one in each scent

The Softest Sleeping Spot
When it comes to bedtime, we all know how important it is to be comfortable. Nobody wants to fall asleep on a lumpy mattress with a scratchy sheet and a dirty blanket, right? This doesn't just apply to moms and dads, but to the littlest members of our families too! A good nights sleep comes so much easier when your bed is soft, comfy and cozy. SMQ Organics is a one-of-a-kind shop that hand makes the most wonderful crib and playpen sheets. They claim that no expense is spared when creating their products for our precious babes...and I believe it! The beautiful Sky Blue crib sheet that we received is as soft as a kitten and you can tell that it's good quality by both the feel and look of it. It is made from 100% organic viscose from Bamboo and is completely free of any toxins or synthetic ingredients. Because of the fabric that they are made from, moisture is wicked away from your baby by the bamboo and it is also hypoallergenic. I know I mentioned above that it is handmade...but one of my favorite parts is that these sheets are handmade right here in Canada! Because of that, SMQ Organics is also happy to make custom sized sheets for your cribs or playpens. You can be sure that your kids will be sleeping and dreaming on the best of the best when it comes to crib or playpen sheets!
You'll find a few other products at SMQ Organics as well - all which have equally as much thought and care put into the making of them! There are some fabulous bath and diapering items, as well as baby blankets and some adorable and unique crib art!
BUY IT!
SMQ Organics is offering all our readers a 15% discount! In order to receive your discount use the coupon code: GLIMPSE15. Expires July 2, 2010.

Shoo Foo Bamboo for you- GIVEAWAY!!
Shoo Foo makes a variety of linens, towels and baby items, all with bamboo fibers. Read more on their website on the certifications (organic and Oeko-Tex) their bamboo items have received. Bamboo is known to be very absorbent and breathable, and it's great to use for baby towels! Most towels dry stiff and hard, but the bamboo towel fabric stays soft and cuddly.
Daniel was given a Bamboo hooded baby towel. Ours is edged in blue, but they come in other trim colours as well. Although Daniel is nearly 2, the towel still wraps around him nicely, and usually, he's almost dry by the time we unwrap him (and he doesn't stay in that long!). The hooded towel would be a great size for completely wrapping up a baby after bath time or swimming, and would help keep baby warm and cozy. I don't wash towels after every single use, and the bamboo hooded towel always smells fresh, even after it's been used a few times. And, it remains soft and fluffy, just like new, even though it's been used for a few months.
WIN IT!
Shoo Foo has put together a fabulous baby package for one of readers! It consists of a hooded towel like we reviewed, a footed sleeper and a hat!! Please visit Shoo Foo and comment on another product you'd like to try OR something you learned about Bamboo.

Off to camp with Loveable Labels ~ Giveaway!
Do you have a child that is heading off to camp this summer? I know I have very fond memories of my camp days. I think I went every summer from the time I was 8, and then when I was old enough, I even worked at summer camp! Those were the days :)I'm sure that while my mom was missing me, she was also hoping I would come home with all of my belongings! Seriously, the piles of stuff left behind each week were crazy big! By the end of the summer, we could have outfitted a small village, and likely some of that clothing did get sent to the needy.
But don't you want your child to return with all belongings intact? One way to ensure that is with the awesome new Ultimate Camp Packs from Lovable Labels. This is a fantastic set of durable labels that will help to ensure that your child has his/her own things when arriving home. From clothing labels, to hanging metal tags, to shoe labels, I think they've got everything covered!
Rowan was sent his very own Camp Pack of Lovable Labels, and even though he's not old enough to go to camp, he is heading off to school this fall! I know we'll be labeling everything possible. When we opened up the package from the mail, Rowan immediately brought me his favorite pencil to label :) What a sweetie. The Camp Packs are very customizable, from great colors and pictures, to the exact words you want to display on the label. Rowan received the Sporty set, with his full name on them. I think that putting his full name on the label will ensure that there are no mix-ups at school, if there happens to be another Rowan. We just love the bright colors and cool sports icons on them. The convenient booklet format that they come in is also wonderful, and so useful for keeping them together.
Lovable Labels are safe in the washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and microwave! They are also not harmed by bleach, sunscreen, heat, or cold. So don't be afraid to apply them to anything and everything!
WIN IT!
Lovable Labels would love to give away a Camp Pack to one lucky reader! This is an AWESOME giveaway, and one that would be useful for just about anyone. In order to enter, please visit Lovable Labels and tell me what your favorite Camp Pack set is.

Cloth Diapers, EH! GIVEAWAY!
Are you looking for a cloth diaper that fits trim, absorbs well and looks cute? You should check out Cloth Diapers EH! This truly Canadian shop, owned by mompreneurs Lindy and Gina, features their own design of cloth diaper, called the Bare Bum Diaper. (Yes, Canadians do say EH, although not nearly as much as you might think! LOL) Cloth Diapers EH! also sells fabrics and notions if you're interested in sewing your own diapers.
Daniel also tried out a swim diaper during the last session of swimming lessons. In 10 weeks, we never had a leak issue once, the diaper fits great, and again, is nice and trim. It's made of 1 layer of sport mesh, and one layer diaper flannel, with an outer layer of 2 mil waterproof PUL. It can be worn as swimming pants, or under swimming shorts or a bathing suit, just whatever you like. We have used disposable swim diapers in the past, and will never go back! The cost savings alone should be enough to convince anyone, but the comfort and environmental factors are great as well. The diaper doesn't swell at all in the water (unlike disposables, which for us seemed to swell some), is easy to put on and take off and fits great.
Bare Bum Diapers can be customized with an embroidery design on the back, making them super cute! You can choose from a variety of designs; the price varies per design. Check out the designs on the embroidery page!
WIN IT!
Cloth Diapers EH is offering one of our readers a $25 gift certificate! To enter the contest, please visit Cloth Diapers EH! and comment on something you noticed (a favourite feature, diaper design etc.)

Cloth Diapering Made Easy! ~ Giveaway!

It seems the more cloth diapers I try, the more I want to try! And the Easy Fit diaper was definitely one on my to-try list. I was sent a Pomegranate Easy Fit from Sea to Sky Babies, and let's just say I'm glad I got the chance to give this one a try!The Easy Fit diaper is considered a pocket diaper, but it's more of a hybrid diaper if you ask me. The insert is attached to the diaper and you just tuck the extra length inside the diaper. The part that touches your baby is luxurious bamboo. It is amazingly silky soft! Behind that layer of bamboo is some super thirsty microfiber. So really, you get the best of both worlds. Soft, natural fibers next to babies skin, and the super absorbent qualities of microfiber, working behind the scenes. Here is a video about how to use the Easy Fit, made by Bummis, the company that sells Easy Fit.
Since this is a pocket diaper, you can also add extra absorbency if you need to. So far we've only had one issue with leaks because of a too-full diaper. My mistake!
I have to admit, when I first saw that the Easy Fit had applix closures, I was a bit turned off. I've had some other very popular diapers that had major applix issues, and I wasn't about to deal with that again. But, I've been very pleasantly surprised! This stuff is made to hold, and to keep it's shape. I have absolutely no trouble with the applix, whether in the wash, or on my baby. I love that I can get a perfect fit every time.
The other totally awesome thing about the Easy Fit is that it is a One Size diaper! That means you can use the same diaper for your baby from birth through potty training! I know most One Size diapers are listed to start using around 8 pounds, but are realistically more like 10-12 pounds. The Easy Fit has a shorter rise than most, and I think it would fit a smaller baby much better.
Sea to Sky Babies also has some other great cloth diapering products, including the fairly new Flip cloth diapering system (another one on my list to try!).
WIN IT!
Sea to Sky Babies would like to offer one lucky Glimpse reader a small Monkey Foot Designs wet bag! This bag is perfect for snacks, toiletries, and small toys on the go! Or use it for cloth wipes in your diaper bag.In order to enter, please visit Sea to Sky Babies and let us know what your favorite Monkey Foot Designs print is.

A Little Glitz for Mom ~ GIVEAWAY!
I used to use disposables for everything. If it was disposable, I was game! :) But ever since getting married and becoming a mom my views have changed...a LOT! Now we use reusable products for almost everything. Cloth diapers, cloth mama pads, reusable grocery bags and now that I'm nursing again - cloth nursing pads. I LOVE cloth nursing pads - they are 100% more comfortable and breathable than those plastic disposable nursing pads. My Lil' Package recently sent me some Glitzy Gals Washable Nursing Pads. These are the first bamboo nursing pads I've tried - and let's just say that now I'm spoiled! The nursing pads are made from several layers of absorbent, eco-friendly baby bamboo - and they are so soft and MUCH more absorbent than the regular flannel nursing pads! Bamboo does more than just absorb though - it is anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, deodorizing and naturally wicks breast milk from skin...how much better could it get? ;) Oh, and did I mention? They're even FUN! The nursing pads are topped with fun and funky 100% cotton designer fabric. I am loving my set of Glitzy Gals cloth nursing pads and would definitely recommend them to any nursing mother. My Lil' Package also carries a fabulous selection of other products for moms, babies and toddlers. They've got a bunch of great traveling supplies for those of us who are on the go this summer! Head over and check out what they all have to offer.

Green Bean Goodness~ GIVEAWAY!
I've never been one to enjoy too many frills...or too much lace, or too many flowers and too much of those "dizzy designs" that you sometimes see on little girl dresses. Of course, there's still room for a little bit of lace, frill, flowers and ribbons...but I've always been a fan of the simpler things. Perhaps that is why I fell in love with Green Bean Baby's products the minute I discovered them! Green Bean Baby sent Emily one of their newest additions - the 100% Organic Cotton Dress. It is made from a gorgeous soft textured knit that was manufactured right here in Canada, and is completely adorable! I absolutely LOVE how simple the dress is - yet it's delicate, dressy and best of all, as comfortable as a pair of sweat pants! :) It has no zippers, snaps, strings, etc. It's a perfect summer dress for an active toddler and you can be sure that it is definitely going to be a favorite in our home this summer.Green Bean Baby carries only organic products and you'll find all sorts of organic treasures in their shop! For example, check out the bedding, or the gift sets. They've got some great items for newborns too - like the incredibly soft organic no-scratch mitts! The quality and design of the products at Green Bean Baby is amazing and you can tell that they've really put their heart into making sure that what they create is perfect for your little ones!
WIN IT!

Ringley - Giveaway!!
I was pleased to find RiNGLEY. This Canadian company makes teethers using 100% organic cotton terrycloth and untreated maple wood. What could be more Canadian than maple?! :)
There seems to be something that kids like about chewing on cloth, especially knotted cloth, at least if you go by my son Daniel! :) That's one reason I thought he would like RiNGLEY - 2 of the designs feature knotted extremities. And I was much happier with the idea of chewing on wood - untreated at that - than other things he was trying to chew on. RiNGLEY makes 4 different models of teethers - knotted, straight, junior and ball. They're all handmade in Toronto.
Daniel was sent a RiNGLEY junior model to try. We took it with us in our diaper bag, and he has happily chewed on the wooden ring as well as the cloth. Fortunately, his teeth have been taking a break (5 more to go - yeah!) so he hasn't been using his RiNGLEY as much recently, but when his teeth were really bothering him, he chewed and bit with a vengeance! :)
The RiNGLEY is washable (once the wood is detached), and untreated maple is a perfect wood to chew on as it's natural antibacterial. It can be chewed on wet or dry, whatever your child prefers, and is easy to chew on, reaching even the molars, without choking, in our experience.
WIN IT!
RiNGLEY is giving away a teether to one of our readers (your choice of model). To enter, please visit RiNGLEY's website and comment on WHICH model you would choose and WHY!

Soft, cozy, and funky! ~ Giveaway!

Most evenings, after the kids are in bed, I relax in the living room either at the computer, TV, or with a good book. I'm tired, and just want to relax for a while before going to bed. And even though it's been beautiful outside lately, our house is often cool. I love getting cozy with a big blanket, or my new Ladies Wrap. The Ladies Wrap is a cozy, soft, fleece wrap that I was sent from Funky Fleece in Winnipeg, MB. I have really enjoyed cozying up with it late in the evenings. While a blanket is nice, it's hard to keep it on my shoulders while turning pages, etc. The Ladies Wrap stays perfectly on my shoulders while I do whatever I want around the house.
In summer we love to have fires in our back yard. I know the Ladies Wrap will be perfect for keeping me warm in the summer evenings. I look forward to using it then as well.
Funky Fleece offers many other great fleece creations. From children's hats to mittens to blankets and PJs, there's something for everyone! They even have some adorable crochet headbands and hats for the little girls in your life.
WIN IT!
Funky Fleece would like to offer one lucky reader a Ladies Wrap! In order to get your first entry, just check out their website and let us know what your favorite item is.

Something for the Ladies :) - GIVEAWAY!
Getting packages in the mail is so fun, but let's face it, once you have kids most of the packages are for them. :) And honestly? I don't mind that at all...in fact seeing my kids get mail and gifts is almost like getting them myself! But every once in a while it is nice when a package arrives for Mommy. Recently I received just this kind of package from Helene Klein Accessories, and inside was a fabulous Charlie Crossover Handbag! I love it. Though I spend most of my days toting around a nice, big diaper bag, there are still the occasional times when I don't NEED to haul the diaper bag along! You know...during a quick trip to the store, or when I only have one child with me, etc. So that's when I use my new Charlie Crossover. It's just the perfect size to fit a few necessities in. Since you can carry it like a messenger bag it also leaves my hands free to tend to children or whatever else may need my attention. Helene Klein Accessories has a HUGE selection of fun, colorful and unique handbags! Many are big enough to even double as a diaper bag. The one I received is full of pockets zippered compartments to store your belongings in...and the quality of the overall bag is wonderful. You can be sure that it will be used for many years to come!Helene Klein Accessories also has a great bunch of wallets and flat wallets (perfect for throwing into one of those handbags or diaper bags!), as well as jewelry and more! The shop is packed full of accessories for ladies of any age, so head over and take a peek!

WIN IT!

Natural Skin Care from Beaulance
Having super sensitive skin often feels like a curse. Like everything out there is out to hurt me and make me react. Not fun. So I was really cautious when I received a jar of Naturose Face Cream from Beaulance. I admit that I may not have given it a fair try at first, because I was so scared of a reaction. At the first sign of irritation, I stopped using it and assumed that it wouldn't work for me.
After emailing Beaulance, I was encouraged to try it again and give my skin some time to adjust. Apparently when using a new product, it can take a while for skin to get accustomed to it, and once it is used to the product, there is no more irritation. So I gave it another go, and was pleasantly surprised! Beaulance products are specifically designed for those with sensitive skin, and I have to agree. The face cream is nice and rich (perfect for my super dry skin) and feels great on. I think it has helped reduce some of the redness as well, which is an extra bonus for me! It has a nice delicate rose scent from the natural rosehip seed oil.
Another thing I love about Beaulance is that all of their ingredients are organic or natural. I try to stay away from anything synthetic if possible, and these products are a great option. And for those with even more concerns, these products are vegan and gluten free.
Beaulance's line includes a facial oil, eye cream, body butter, and a bunch of other great skin care products. It is also affordable, which is always an extra bonus!
PURCHASE IT!
Beaulance would love to offer Glimpse readers a 20% discount! Please mention Glimpse when you check out (or email the company) and they will work out the discount for you.

Natural matters
We were fortunate to try out a few products from The Matter Company's mom&baby collection.
Mineral Soak
A long soak in the tub (or even a shorter one!) is a luxury I don't get very often these days. After the kids are in bed, I'm usually so tired I follow shortly! :) But occasionally I can indulge - a good book, something nice in the water, and I'm good to go! The Matter Company's Mineral Soak worked perfectly for me. Pleasantly and lightly scented with bergamot, tangerine, palma rosa and elemi, it dissolved easily in the water to create a great soaking environment. I noticed after each bath that my skin was softer and less dry. A mineral salt soak is great for sore muscles as well. Most times, I was so relaxed, I nearly fell asleep! :)
Sun Care for Baby
Lately we've had to start using sun cream on the kids when they're outside - we've had some very warm, sunny days - YEAH! I was glad to try out The Matter Company's Sun Care for Baby. This year both Daniel and Jonathan will accept being rubbed in with cream :) so that makes it a lot easier too. This cream goes on very thick, and takes a little while to rub in (or they look like little white ghosts!) but it has been very effective. It's active ingredient is zinc oxide, and it's equivalent to an SPF of 30. Other ingredients are chosen to moisturize and soothe your child's skin. It too is scented with essential oils: lavender, orange, geranium, palmarosa and mint, and has a pleasant, kid-friendly aroma.
Baby CremeWith a new baby in the house and two young toddlers I find that it is so important to have creams, lotions, shampoos, detergents, etc. that are specifically for the sensitive skin of young children. We received a bottle of fabulous baby creme from The Matter Company and it has been perfect for both our newborn and our toddlers! It has a yummy, but gentle scent and is not oily at all - which I really love! The creme is actually free of mineral oil, yet is still perfect for nourishing and replenishing your little one's skin. The creme has grapefruit essential oil in it which gives it a really unique and VERY nice smell! I love the smell of fruits and this baby creme is no exception. It is a great creme to keep in your cupboard or your diaper bag and really does the job well!
Nipple CremeIt's been months now since I (Stacey) have needed nipple cream, but I do remember being very impressed with the Nipple Creme from Matter Company. The texture is great, especially after experiencing sticky lanolin with my two older children. When your nipples are sore and cracked, there is nothing worse than trying to get that sticky lanolin off of your finger and onto your nipple! Not to mention, lanolin can be an allergen for a lot of people. Nipple Creme is very soothing and is also totally safe to leave on your nipples when baby is nursing. I highly recommend it!
Buy It!
The Matter Company is offering all of our readers a 15% discount on the Sun Care cream. In order to use the discount, email Denise at denise@mattercompany.com and quote the code "matterco416." Offer expires June 30, 2010.
