Getting Cuddly - GIVEAWAY!!

So, as December flies by, Annalies has now reached the "one month" milestone! She's started to smile on purpose, and has been growing like crazy! Another new development is that if you put a toy in her hand, she'll hold on to it for a little while, and once she's even grabbed something on her own!

Peatoes, that wonderful kids online shop based in Montreal, sent a cuddle toy for "the new baby" when they sent the clothes for the boys. Biba the Pig is an organic cuddle cloth toy. Both boys have a favourite bear they cannot be without, and the part of their bear they like the most is the cloth attached to it. So, if Annalies follows in her big brothers' footsteps, Biba the Pig will be exactly what she likes! Biba is made by Danish company Franck & Fischer, a company whose toys are fair-trade produced and handmade.  Most of Biba is a cotton jersey fabric, and the rest is a cotton velour. The bright colours, and especially the stripes, are very attractive. Biba's hands and feet are  knotted, so easy to grip, and satisfying to chew on.  Only the head is stuffed (100% polyester), so the toy is lightweight and easy for even an infant to move around. On a practical note, the cuddle pig is washable - a feature I'm sure we'll have to try out before long!
