I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I'm so excited to be able to spend time with family and friends. This Christmas, especially, I'm happy to be using eco-friendly options for gift wrapping.

Well, I save gift bags and carefully fold unripped tissue paper to reuse. I also save ribbons and bows.
I'm still using bags, tissue paper and ribbon from my baby showers and bridal showers :)

I reuse boxes, saving them for next year. I hardly use bows, because I find they are not necessary. I find a chocolate bar makes a nicer topper for a gift anyway.

I recycle christmas cards and make them into gift tags. I cut out pretty parts of the card and use it for gift tags

I have made quite a few bags for wrapping gifts in the past few years. We use them for family gifts and whoever gets the gift in the bag keeps it to reuse the following year. It saves a lot on throwing away wrap, it is fast to wrap in them, and a quicker cleanup after the gifts are open since you just have some bags to fold and pack away for next year.
