Inspire your children! ~ GIVEAWAY!

Recent research shows that children would rather play with their parents than watch TV and that parents would like to help their children be more creative but don't know how. Does your family fit this description?

Inspire Imports Inc. discovered a great line of products while visiting New Zealand. Seedling is a small New Zealand company that puts kits together that include everything a kid needs to explore their creative passions, and build skills and confidence at the same time. There are kits for various ages and interests, and even kits for adults. Each kit contains all the supplies needed - no extra shopping list is required! But, Seedling products weren't available in Canada - hence the birth of Inspire Imports Inc.

When Inspire Imports contacted us about their kits and the possibility of a review, we started looking around their website, and were immediately impressed by the selection: there are cooking kits, crafty kits, build-it kits, outdoor/gardening kits and more! We were thinking of our oldest son Jonathan, age 5, and there were quite a few kits that would interest him and be within his capability range. As Jonathan has been interested in learning to tell time, we decided the "Designer Clock" kit would be perfect for him.

And indeed it was! Jonathan opened the kit on his birthday, and was super-keen to begin right away! He needed a bit of guidance planning his design, but in the end, he painted the clock face all himself. The kit includes several tubes of acrylic paints, brushes and a template for planning. After it dried, Jonathan and his father put the clockworks together, and now Jonathan has a brand-new clock for his room! The instructions were very clear, and it was great that everything was there, ready to use in the kit. He is so proud of his efforts and pleased to see his clock working!
