I would make the top purple, orange heel and black trim and using green, I would embroider the word "Boo" on it.

I would choose burnt orange for the front, black for the heel, and medium brown for the band. I would put a pumpkin sitting on a small pile of leaves on the front.

I would love to see one with burnt orange on the front, hunter green on the heel, and a medium to dark brown for the band.
The embroidery on the front would be a vine and tendrils of the 'pumpkin' coming up on the outside of the front part of the shoe (in green) and a pumpkin face (a couple black triangles for eyes, one for the nose, and a series of squares to form a mouth missing teeth).

I would say you could do girl, boy, or gender neutral
So how about since its Halloween and say we do a gender neutral one...
lets do all black with an orange trim and then a really cool looking sugar skull on it...
Sugar skulls are huge right now and big for halloween and the colors are halloween colors...its gender neutral...so its cost effective!
You could even give the option of having 1st halloween or happy halloween on the back of the shoes.
