Local Artisans can register as a Cartizan Artizan. This gives you the chance to tell people about yourself and your work, connecting with local buyers. Local shoppers and browsers can find local, talented crafters through Cartizan's directories and take a look at the links to any of their own websites. It's also possible to communicate directly with Artizans to find out more about their handiwork.
As a locally-minded consumer, you'll find out about artisans and crafters you'd never heard of before! Cartizan is only about 3 weeks old and already there are quite a few listings! As well, there will be an Interactive Venue Directory where you can list or find a crafting event (craft sales, farmer’s markets, festivals with markets and anywhere else that sells local handmade goods). Each week, a participant is featured on the homepage.

Take a look at Cartizan – you'll be surprised at what you'll find! And keep coming back as the website gains more listings and continues to develop. There is already 1 artisan with pictures of his work – Ivan Berkowitz, a potter who makes dishes safe to cook with and eat on – and the hope is that more listings will contain pictures very soon.
