Go Ape to Zebra! GIVEAWAY!!

I've been noticing lately that the toys my kids play with the most are the ones that are versatile to be used in many different activities, in many different ways; toys that stimulate their creativity and fit the imaginary moment. I've always liked toys that made kids think while they're playing.

When I came across the toy shop Ape to Zebra, I was delighted! They have a great selection of toys – for all ages and developmental stages, from a wide variety of manufacturers. What I was really excited about was all the wooden toys they carry! They have their toys categorized by age, by manufacturer, by country of production and by theme. There are so many ways to find what you're looking for.

Ape to Zebra sent Jonathan and Daniel a Wooden Rainbow Rings set made by Grimm Spiel und Holz. There are 12 wooden rings, all different colours, all nesting together. They can make a tunnel, be stacked in different ways, used as an experiment in balancing – every time the kids play with them they're doing something different! The rings are well-made, smooth (no sharp edges or corners) and are painted with water-based dyes. And the colours are vivid and beautiful – the rainbow rings set often sits on one of the tables in the living room as decoration – especially now that all the real decor items have been put away until they're no longer endangered! :)
