A Little Extra Love ~ GIVEAWAY!

When it comes to supper or lunch...or even breakfasts and snacks or desserts I often am faced with the "What am I EVER going to make?!" conundrum! It seems that the ideas seem to evade you after a while - especially once you've got young kids and have less time to search through your cookbooks for something that is both tasty and healthy! I recently discovered a fabulous little cookbook though. Bums Away sent us a copy of Lunchbox Love - and it has been such a wonderful addition to our cookbook cupboard! :) It has over 60 recipes which are all healthy AND delicious. We've tried a few of them over the past few weeks and have loved every one. Oh, and the other good part? They're all on the quick and easy side - no 3 hour preps. for meals! And the recipes range from Featherless Chicken Nuggets to Kitchen Sink Cookies. Yum! The ingredients are sooo sneaky too. ;) Everything is made from healthy, filling and preservative free ingredients. Who knew that cookies could have sunflower seeds, flax AND wheat germ in them and still taste fabulous? I love it! I feel so much better about feeding cookies and treats like this to my kids. They are filled with goodness and are free from all the sugar, white flour, etc. that you normally see in most recipes.

Lunchbox Love is also filled with a TON of "Who Knew?" tidbits and advice. Like...did you know that in 1 tbsp. of ketchup there is 1 tsp. of sugar?! That's a lot!!! Sooo, instead why not use mustard or salsa? They're far healthier and have more flavor too. Lunchbox Love is a great cookbook for moms and grandmas alike - perfect for moms with toddlers, or moms who need new and healthy ideas for school lunches, or even for just making for yourself to enjoy at home!
