Cute Clips, Fierce Bite! ~ GIVEAWAY!

Growing a head of hair is a tough job for little girls. :) Somehow you've got to keep it OUT of your eyes so you can play...yet sitting still for a nice hair-do, or even for braids or a ponytail is just not fun. At all. I've had long hair all my life...and I know that somedays, the easier the hair-do, the better! Clippopotamus has the PERFECT solution for days like this! They've created the best adjustable hairbands I've ever tried. They are SO simple, but work like a charm! Most hairbands that I've tried through my 20-some years of long hair have all been too tight, too loose, or they fall out or give me a headache by 10am. But the hairbands from Clippopotamus are ingenious! They work for ANY age - right from little girls to ones who are all grown-up. The hairbands are nice and long, and are so so SO easy to adjust. I can slip one on Emily's head and adjust it at the back and in less than a minute she's got her hair out of her eyes and she looks as cute as can be! My other favorite part about these? There's NO elastic in them. Just ribbon and a toggle for adjusting. That means the hairbands actually stay in place! They don't slowwwwly slip off like one ones with elastic in them. I actually was very surprised to see how well it stayed in a 1 1/2 year old's hair...even with rolling around on the floor/couch it didn't slip off. It's definitely a win-win hair style with Clippopotamus hairbands!

Emily also received 2 sets of some very sweet and original hair clips - Little Ones with Bows. The ribbons that I found at Clippopotamus were unique and fun, and the clips looked even cuter in real than I'd imagined! Clippopotamus has a secret weapon when it comes to these clips though...really! Instead of any of the 'usual' no-slip grips that you'll find on clips they've got this special clear lining on the top AND bottom of the clip to make sure that it'll stay put. You can barely even tell that the lining is there, and in fact I had to take a second look at the clips because I couldn't believe how well they were staying in. Impressive!

And finally we also tried a more "wintery" item! A set of Mitten Clippos. These are perfect for keeping mittens close by...one less thing for mom to have to search for every time you head out the door. They're sturdy, washable and come in a great selection of fun and funky ribbon patterns as well! A must have for any mom with young kids who's living in the snow-filled prairies or provinces of Canada. :)
