Unique, quality, handmade, and adorable! That's how I'd describe the clothing we received from Prairie Wildrose. Bria loves her owl peasant top, and I think she looks so cute in it! It's made of a lightweight cotton, and I think it's perfect paired with a tee underneath for a little extra warmth, since Winter is well on it's way here in Manitoba!
The other item we received was a pinafore dress. We were asked to try it out for fit. I would say that the current pattern is great for a chunkier little girl, like Bria. It doesn't fit as well on a petite toddler, as it tends to fall off the shoulders. Jane is currently working on her pattern to make it fit better for petite toddlers as well, so make sure to check back! It's absolutely adorable though, and the quality is amazing. I can see this lasting forever! Once Bria outgrows the length as a dress, it makes an adorable top.

They've really got you covered when it comes to living a healthy and earth-friendly lifestyle. :) Ecomama sent Tate a wonderful 12oz Klean Kanteen Sippy. It is perfect for kids. Every baby or child needs something special to cuddle with...to love...to sleep with and carry everywhere they go! But, sad as it is, you can't give them just any stuffed animal. One of the best things about kids is how much they can imagine. Their imagination is endless some days it seems...today my son picked some tea up off the carpet and "fed" it to me in a medicine dropper. haha. Then he proceeded to jump in his "police car" and go help some people! Not without his new police hat though! You know how your heart feels the first time you hear your little one say "Mommy" or "Daddy"? Or maybe their first word is "ball" or "no". Either way, the excitement is still there, and the thought that you would ever forget their first words never crosses your mind. Until you do forget! I will admit, I was not so good at keeping track of what my kids were like as babies. I didn't have special baby books to record all the milestones, and I don't remember their first words! Terrible.
One thing that is sure to be found in any parent's 'medicine cupboard' or at least in their diaper bag is diaper cream. It seems that rashes on those little bums happen all too often! Handmade, 110% adorable, fun, and perfect for your little monkey - all of this and more describes what you'll find at Monkeybum Designs. (Ok, I'll admit it...I think I've fallen in "love" with this little shop! I could spend way too much money there! ;) ). Anyways, Monkeybum Designs sent us 2 of their toddler/baby headbands. The first is a gorgeous Blue Dragonfly headband with a perfect little bow on top. It's beyond cute. These headbands are perfect for babies or toddlers. They're not tight and won't "bother" their delicate heads. They are made with a longer piece of ribbon, and a shorter length of "no-Slip" elastic at the back of their head to hold the headband in place. At 14 weeks along, I'm really starting to wear maternity clothes. They are just far more comfortable than my regular clothes, and it makes me feel pregnant instead of just fat.
The other really sweet thing about this top is the little duck illustration that is visible only while nursing! Your little one can enjoy a cute little picture, just for him or her.
