Rosy und Posy ~ Giveaway!!

Snacks snacks snacks! My kids are constantly hungry, and no wonder! They love to play and are always running, crawling, cimbing, etc. That takes a lot of energy. I often hear the words, "I'm hungry Mommy. I need a snack!" It's nice to have a snack handy in church too, to keep them happy and quiet during the service.

We are loving our new snack bag from Rosy und Posy! I'm really trying to stop using plastic and this is one way that I have found to eliminate some of those little baggies that just get tossed. Sleep (or no sleep!) is that one thing that can cause us parents so much grief. The Best Daisies are Blue

I'll admit it. I'm frugal...perhaps you'd even say I was cheap sometimes when it comes to buying clothing for my kids. :) Of course, I still like to have nice clothing for them, but I find that I don't need to be shopping at Please Mum or Old Navy in order to find cute brand name clothing that's in good shape! And Daisy Blue proves my point perfectly. :) Daisy Blue is a great online shop that's PERFECT for us busy parents (or grandparents/aunts/uncles, etc.!) who don't have time to go garage saling or thrift store browsing for hours on end. Daisy Blue offers quality, brand name and in season clothing for boys, girls and pregnant mama's too! Tate received a spring jacket with a zip out hoody for summer time. He loves it and I love it as well. You'd never even know that this 2 in 1 jacket was used before - it's like new and of course was 100% affordable (I think it was only $8!!)

My face. Those who have seen it lately, are probably wondering what in the world is going on! My eyelids have been red, puffy, and flaking. Yuck. It's hard to go out and feel pretty when your skin is flaking off your face.

Just this last week I've had a bit of relief though, and I can thank SudsMuffin for that! SudsMuffin has a fabulous facial serum called Time Traveller Facial Serum. Nature's Wizard

It seems that people are finally becoming more educated on the toxic chemicals found in just about everything these days. I have seen stories on the evening news about skin care products, toys, etc. But wouldn't it be nice to have ONE source to go to when researching?

I recently became aware of a website called Nature's Wizard. It is a great Canadian resource for all things natural. You can find many many articles there, from topics such as Personal Care, Household, and Babies and Children. And these are not just one moms opinion either. These articles are taken from reliable sources and put together at Nature's Wizard so we can have access to them all in one place.

I am so excited to be doing this review. I don't know how I am going to condense it all into a few paragraphs. I thought it was especially interesting to be able to do a review for a company founded by the Canadian-based Mennonite Central Committee, given that this is my husband's heritage.

We have had the chance to try out something very cool recently. Have you ever heard of modeling beeswax? Neither had I! Until I stumbled across Twinkle of my Eye, I never would have imagined using beeswax like modeling clay. I made a short video for you to watch regarding the modeling beeswax. Enjoy!

This is a great non toxic toy for your children to play with. I wasn't too worried when I found Bria trying to eat a chunk of it (though I certainly wouldn't recommend feeding it to small children, I don't think it will do any damage :) ) and it won't get ruined from being wet either.

Right now Rowan is just a bit too young to really know what to make with the beeswax, so everything is a 'ball' or 'look at this funny shape I made Mommy'. I can imagine it will give us hours of fun in the future though!What would you make with your modeling beeswax? Leave us a comment!
