Are you ready to take a Glimpse?

For a while now, we have been thinking of adding another mom to our team. Andrea and I both LOVE writing reviews, but neither of us is very good with html codes and the website design stuff. Ideally we would like to find someone who could do the following:

~Post one review per week on Glimpse
~Make nifty little buttons for the shops that are offering giveaways and discount codes
~Make advertising banners and buttons to generate income for our blog
~Give our blog a face lift!

So, if you are a Canadian mom (and yes, you have to be Canadian, since that is the whole point of Glimpse) with the above skills, with an interest in natural/eco-friendly and handmade products, we'd love to hear from you! Green Like A Rainbow ~ And A Giveaway!!

Going green can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when you are also trying to save money. One way to save a lot of money while grocery shopping, is to buy in bulk. Beans, rice, pasta, chocolate chips, you name, it can find it in bulk!

The one thing that I don't have is a reusable bag that works well for these bulk foods. The ideal bag would be lightweight, with a tight weave to keep the finer products like flour IN the bag, instead of spilling through it! I think I have found that bag.

Slinging it with the Sling Sisters ~ And a Giveaway!

Babywearing is something that I am so grateful for. To be able to hold my children close as I go about my day has been a huge blessing. Over the past year and a half I have had the chance to try many different types of carriers. Probably the simplest, most easy carrier out there is a pouch sling. Easy in, easy out, no straps, buckles, or ties to get in the way, and no complicated wrapping involved!

One issue with buying a pouch sling is trying to find the right size. It can be a bit daunting, since the correct size is so important to you and your babies comfort. Not to mention, when you go to a website and see only 4 or 5 sizes to choose from, that's excluding a whole lot of moms from using a pouch. Let's face it... us mammas come in so many shapes and sizes, and not all of us fit into those 4 or 5 sizes.

The Brush and The Bum ~ AND A GIVEAWAY!

We are huge fans of brushing our teeth here. I have brushed both my kids' teeth (or gums!) since they were born...healthy teeth are just so important and I want my kids to be in the habit of keeping their teeth clean from the very start. Nursing Made Easy

Nursing discreetly in public is one of those things that is just really hard to master! Especially if you have a squirmy baby, or if you're outside and the wind is blowing your blanket or your nursing cover around! In fact, after two babies, I still don't feel like I've got the whole nursing in public thing quite down-pat. Keeping Toes Warm with Littleoneshoes

I've been a huge fan of soft soled shoes ever since Rowan was given a pair as a newborn. Not only are they super cute on tiny feet, but they stay on, they are made of soft leather, and they last forever!

These shoes are super super flexible and oh so soft! Perfect for keeping feet warm in the house in Winter, or protecting little toes in Summer. With plenty of designs to choose from, I think these shoes would make a great gift too!

Get Creative ~ AND A GIVEAWAY!

Do you ever get an idea? An idea of something you want to create...or make, or invent?
