If your household is anything like mine, cookies are a YUMMMMMMY treat - for kids and adults alike! I make 99% of our cookies with my own hands...why? Because the store bought ones contain a lot of extras most times. Lots of sugar, and ingredients that really aren't that great for you - and especially not for the young children in our homes. Both Tate and Emily haven't had a lot of "sweets" at their ages yet. (and yes, people often look at me strangly when I don't give Tate or Emily a piece of cake or a chocolate cupcake with chocolate icing) But you know, there'll be plenty of time for sweets later...I'd like to give my kids the best start possible! That's why we LOVED eating our newest discovery - tasty organic cookies from Sweetpea Baby Food. These are designed specifically for small children (but really are great for any age!) The best part is that they are not full of sugary ingredients, but instead are packed full of vitamins, fruits, fiber and more.
