Prairie Peasant is a delightful little Etsy shop where you will find some of the most unique, and wonderful notebooks, journals, etc. You'll find everything from one of a kind rebound journals, to envelopes for that special card you've meaning to give. Prairie Peasant also creates books that open up "accordian style". One of my favorites is the star book. These books open up into a five pointed star. By sliding the glass bead on the satin ribbon you can fasten it open or closed. Star books can be displayed opened halfway on the shelf, or hung by the ribbon as an ornament opened or closed. Star books are a great idea for a very special and unique gift for a best friend, a mother, a grandparent...you name it! Both sides of the pages can be decorated with photos, love notes, celebratory greetings, favourite quotations or anything else your heart desires! Or you can simply leave it blank and enjoy it for the beauty of its structure alone.
