Babywearing is something that I am so grateful for. To be able to hold my children close as I go about my day has been a huge blessing. Over the past year and a half I have had the chance to try many different types of carriers. Probably the simplest, most easy carrier out there is a pouch sling. Easy in, easy out, no straps, buckles, or ties to get in the way, and no complicated wrapping involved!One issue with buying a pouch sling is trying to find the right size. It can be a bit daunting, since the correct size is so important to you and your babies comfort. Not to mention, when you go to a website and see only 4 or 5 sizes to choose from, that's excluding a whole lot of moms from using a pouch. Let's face it... us mammas come in so many shapes and sizes, and not all of us fit into those 4 or 5 sizes.
That's where the Sling Sisters come in. Lori and Sandra will help you measure for the correct fit, and then sew a custom sized sling, just for you! This really is a dream come true for a lot of moms. I had the chance to meet Sandra and Lori a few months back, and they sized me up just basically by looking at me :) These moms really know what they are doing. And because they are moms, you know they are making something that works. They use their own slings themselves all the time.
The Sling Sisters are also offering wonderful stretchy wraps now. These are awesome for newborns, as it hold them close as a hug, with full support all around. The wraps come in a neat little bag, so you won't be dragging around loose meters of fabric! There are some great photo and video demonstrations on their blog to help you figure it all out as well, for both the pouch sling and the wrap.
